Kleefeld walk -- Strobl

A hike with a somewhat lengthier ascent and descent and impressive views of the mountains of the Weissenbach valley.

From the main square proceed in a southerly direction along the Postalm Road, from where, after 1.5 km/1 mile, the mountain road to the Kleefelder Hof Inn with its wildlife reserve, branches off and ascends to the right. Continue in the same direction along with its wildlife reserve fence, until the trail descends towards the Postalm Road. Now you have the choice of either descending by the way you came or you can continue out of the valley on the Postalm Road, past the Pöckl Sawmill and subsequently going left to get back to the centre of Strobl.
