The Facts

Start and finish is at the »Fischerwirt Schiffsstation« (jetty).
Follow the street, past the lake side promenade, on the lake path towards »Abersee«. Past the »Ferienhof Lueg« holiday apartments and go on till you reach the »Franzosenschanze«.

Here you have to across the main road, now turn right and run uphill on the »Forststraße« to the »Gamswand«.

From here you reach the »Gamswandalm« alpine pasture, than go on to the »Gasthaus Weiß­wand« (guesthouse), there you have a beautiful view to St. Gilgen and to the lake.

Follow the ski slope towards »Laim« and pass »Laimer« ski lift on the left hand side towards »Fuschl/Mozartsteig«.
Turn to »Annenquelle«, than right downhill towards »Laim« and the »Laimerfeld«.

Uphill the »Hochreith­straße« road, than turn left downhill to the main road and cross over – »Schwarzenbrunner­straße« road, you reach the »Mozartplatz« (square), turn right past the town hall and church and straight ahead back to the starting point.
