Start at the Strobl Sports ground (parking available).

Take the railway embankment path to the Fitness course, left here to the »Lipphaus Heimatmuseum« (local history museum), under the main road, right over the walkway and follow the path (with the road 100mt to your right) towards St. Gilgen. Then go left, uphill, on the »Schartenstraße« Road to the fork, and right on route no. 15 to Abersee.

Then right on »Schulstraße« Road. Just before you get to the main road, go left to the »Zinkenbach« river and follow it under the main road continuing downstream to the »Seilbrücke« bridge. Now right onto the running route »Rund um den Wolfgangsee« (Around the Wolfgang lake) to the »Gemeindebad« (public bathing area) in Strobl and go right twice taking you back to the Strobl sports ground again.
