A romantically-picturesque circular run with a short mountainous section

Start at the St. Konrad’s church in Abersee (parking available).
Go right to the »Seilbrücke« bridge and cross over the »Zinkenbach« river going upstream.

Follow the street, after the bridge which leads you under the main road; immediately turn left onto the »Schulstraße« road and then right to just before the »Zinkenbach« bridge.
Now go left, steeply uphill, on the »Bruneckweg« path then gently down to the »Vitz am Berg« farmstead

Go right, downhill to the »Zinkenbachstraße« Road, right here out of the valley through the »Zinkenbach« gorge to the »Forsthaus« (old forester’s house).

Then 1km left on the road towards »Brunn«.
After the 2nd farmhouse go right, under the main road, then right again to the »Staudachwald« wood – through this to the »Abersee-Reith« township and once again right following the route back to the starting point.
