The Wolfgangsee Tourism Company has provided yet another milestone on the region’s path to becoming the most popular tourist destination of the Austrian Lake District. The Wolfgangsee Scheck offers businesses as well as private individuals an attractive gift idea that is equally beneficial to the region as a whole.

Adopting the motto “Experience-Enjoy-Shop”, the new Wolfgangsee Scheck has been introduced by those engaged in the tourist industry all around Wolfgangsee. Its value is not just limited to the face value of 10 or 25 Euros, but additional associated offers make it even more of a delight. A multitude of products, goods and services can be acquired in exchange for the Schecks.
Naturally an essential part of this Scheck concept, the new gift idea, is the easy availability of the Schecks themselves. The Wolfgangsee Scheck can be purchased in all three of the lakeside communities, in each of the Tourist Information buros and Raffeisen Bank branches.
The Wolgangsee Tourism Company believes that on the one hand the Wolfgangsee Scheck brings all the benefits of the much valued gift voucher system while on the other hand providing a unique opportunity for both gift-giver and recipient to benefit the region as a whole (as Schecks are only redeemable within the Wolfgangsee area).
